Popular Grantown bakery closes 'to be safe'

Kj's Bothy Bakery Grantown has announced that it has is currently closed due to Covid-19.

"Unfortunately, one of our team members has tested positive," a company spokesperson posted.

"Our main priority is to keep everyone safe and we are following all government guidelines.

"Our whole team (who have been in close contact) are isolating, we have all been tested & are awaiting results."

The team were "gutted" for those they had no option but to let down meantime.

The long list included orders for afternoon teas or birthday cakes, brad club subscribers expecting deliveries, with none planned now for 22nd and 24th July; slice of heaven subscribers by post & local deliveries and online orders that were placed for this week’s post.

Boss Kj promised: "I will contact everyone individually and as soon as we are back open, we will get your orders processed or we will happily give refunds.

"We really hope to be back on track & open from the 28th but we will just have to wait & see!

"We love you guys & thank you all for your understanding/support during this difficult time."
