Wintry weather is impacting schools across the Highlands with hundreds of pupils impacted today.

Here is the latest list of school closures provided by Highland Council:

Aviemore Early Learning and Childcare Service: Closed (no water/heating/power)

Bualnaluib Primary: Closed (bad weather)

Cauldeen Primary: Partially closed - opening 2 hours later (no water/heating/power)

Gairloch High School: Closed (severe road conditions)

Gairloch Primary: Closed (bad weather)

Gairloch Primary Nursery - EM: Closed (bad weather)

Knockbreck Primary (Dunvegan): Partially closed - opening 1 hour later (severe road conditions)
