Kingussie road cleared as lorry is freed

A pick-up truck has come to the rescue in Kingussie's Clock Tower Brae after a frozen foods delivery lorry got jammed at the junction.

It was around 9pm that the lorry got into difficulty on East Terrace going into Ardbroilach Road.

It is understood there were no injuries and no emergency services were alerted as the vehicle came to a halt across the hill road running westwards up the hill from the Badenoch capital's main High Street junction.

Some two hours later a pick-up truck arrived to assist the lorry and both roads are now clear.
