Badenoch and Strathspey snowed under but 'no issues' says roads team

Snow has returned to the roads network around Badenoch and Strathspey but this morning's winter conditions report says there are 'no issues'

The report, issued at 6.38, confirmed that all routes are being treated.

While some Highland schools have closed because of weather there are no closures in the strath.

In neighbouring areas:

Inverness saw overnight snow on all routes, with low road surface temperatures.

"We are covering all routes and footpaths this morning. B852 Dores to Foyers remains closed and landslide at Wester Lovat still not cleared. No other known issues."

Nairn has a dusting of snow across the network this morning.

"All routes are being treated and no known overnight issues."
