The finalists for the annual Highland Business Awards have now been selected.

Organised by Inverness Chamber of Commerce, the panel of judges gathered today to announce the businesses throughout the region that have been shortlisted for each category.

The shortlist is as follows:

The winners from each category will be announced at the Awards ceremony on September 29 at the Kingsmills Hotel.

Colin Marr, chief executive of Inverness Chamber of Commerce commented: "The judging panel for the Highland Business Awards met this morning with each judge having already done their own scoring of all the entrants over the last few days. We had a really uplifting morning discussing the entries from so many brilliant businesses.

"As you’d expect, in some categories we reached agreement easily, while others needed far more discussion, with the judges all advocating for their chosen winner.

"In the end I think we have eleven really impressive shortlists that showcase businesses of all sizes from across our region. I’m now really looking forward to the awards lunch on September 29."
