A9 closed at Aviemore junction

The A9 has been closed at the Lynwilg junction just south of Aviemore following a crash which is reported to have involved three vehicles.

Reports are coming in of an incident which happened just after 4pm today.

One witness told the Strathy: "There are two ambulances and several police cars at the scene but it's not known yet just what is involved.

"The northbound traffic has certainly been stopped."
