Early morning flights from Inverness Airport cancelled

The 6.40am flight to Manchester Airport from Inverness and the flight to Heathrow scheduled for 6.55am were both cancelled today.

No reason was given online for the cancellations by the Highland airport though Manchester Airport said earlier this morning that it had temporarily closed both its runways due to snow.

Operations resumed there just after 9am.

Currently all other departures scheduled from Inverness today are listed as "on time" apart from the 12.50pm flight to Luton Airport which is marked delayed.
