A Carrbridge house has been badly damaged by fire.

Flames were seen coming through the roof of the property on Friday afternoon (October 7).

Fire appliances from Inverness and Aviemore were sent to the scene after the alarm was raised around 2.15pm

A spokesman for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said the fire had been in the roof space.

Firemen using breathing apparatus had searched the property. The fire had been contained within one part.
