A final service will be held on Sunday (November 7) to mark the closure of a Strathspey church.

It has been announced that the Dulnain Bridge Parish Church building will close down because it is no longer possible to keep it open.

A spokeswoman said: "It is with heavy hearts that the decision has been made to close the Dulnain Bridge Church building as the very small but faithful congregation is no longer able to continue its upkeep."

Sunday's service is due to start at 3pm and people are invited to attend and share in the occasion.

The congregation will then continue to meet on Sunday mornings in the village hall from November 21.
