A convoy of around 15 heavy goods and agricultural vehicles drove past Raigmore Hospital last night in support of hard-pressed frontline NHS staff and other key workers.

The drive-by coincided with the weekly Clap for Carers where people join in a round of applause in recognition of the work done by health workers battling the Covid-19 outbreak.

Raigmore Hospital is the main facility serving Badenoch and Strathspey.

The convoy followed a similar event at Nairn Hospital last week.
