Clarification: An article that appeared on page 10 of the Strathy (April 28) and then on our website stated that in 2022 the salary of Grant Moir, the chief executive of Cairngorms National Park Authority, was almost as much as that of the First Minister.

The headline and opening paragraphs did not make clear that this figure takes into account Mr Moir's salary and pension when compared with the First Minister's salary without pension.

While the online article was later updated to reflect this, the print article was not. We regret any confusion.
