Comedian Susan Calman had a few surprises for everyone tonight when her 'Secret Scotland' aired on Channel 5 from the Grampians and the Central Highlands.

Her call to Stephen Bruce's Kilted Fudge Company in Aviemore didn't actually produce fudge after all but some cracking macaroon – the first she had tasted for years.

And with Stephen's expert hand guiding her it was clear that she had made something very tasty indeed.

After feeding her own face very happily she moved on to try feeding others – joining herder Fiona Smith at the Cairngorm Reindeer Centre across at Rothiemurchus.

As with the macaroon making, she proved herself up to the challenge before going on to attempt others beyond Badenoch and Strathspey, as she lifted the 'Mini Dinnie Stones' over in Aberdeenshire and braved a head-long plunge into the longest 'echo' tunnel in the country at Invergordon.

The secret is well and truly out that the Scots star wants everyone else to love the country as much as she does!
