Musician Callum Beattie has offered an Inverness gig-goer "tickets for life" after he collapsed last night.

Paramedics helped take the man to an ambulance after he took ill during a concert at Inverness Ice Centre.

The crowd at the show applauded medics and event personnel as they assisted the man.

After pausing the gig, Beattie returned to the stage to tell the audience that he was informed that the man was OK and had a pacemaker, which he'd been having a few issues with over the last few days.

He wished the man and his family all the best and offered "tickets for life" for his future gigs.

He dedicated the second-half of his set to him.

Afterwards, Beattie said: "What a night – without a shadow of a doubt the best gig we have ever played.

"Further proof that we can manifest our dreams.

"It took us a few years, but tonight was just different.

"We’ve had a rough time behind the scenes these past few months, but tonight, we were completely free, and it felt good.

"Thanks to every single one of you, and we all hope that the person who was ill makes a full recovery."
