Five brigades attending wildfire in Inshriach Forest

Emergency services are tackling a grass fire in the Glenfeshie area of Badenoch.

A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson told the Strathy the call out had been to the Ballintean area.

Conditions this week have been hot and dry and have left large areas of open ground tinder dry.

Currently there are five different stations represented with crews from Grantown, Aviemore, Carrbridge, Kingussie and Newtonmore.
