Breabach star Ewan putting the Ho Ho Ho into Christmas at Carrbridge

Breabach star Ewan Robertson will be returning home to play a special festive concert in Carrbridge this evening.
Mixing music, family, good times and Christmas cheer, ‘Bro’s & Ho Ho Hos’ are made up of traditional Scottish music scene couple Ewan and his wife: Megan Henderson - the BBC Scots Trad Music Awards Musician of the Year 2022).
Both are members of the multi-award winning group and current 'Folk Band of the Year' Breabach and provide vocals, fiddle, guitar and step dance.
Completing the line up with harp, piano and fiddle are Megan's sister (former of BBC Radio 2 Young Musician of the Year), Ingrid Henderson and her husband ex-Blazin Fiddles member Iain MacFarlane.
Both are members of Glenfinnan Ceilidh Band who have become Hogmamay favourites on BBC ALBA.
Robertson said they have been performing the Christmas show now for several years apart from during Covid.
He said: "Our Christmas show is a mix of traditional song and music peppered with festive fun classics and sing-along carolling for all the family to join in with.
"It's the perfect way to round off the year!"
The gig takes place from 7.30pm to 10pm at Carrbridge Village Hall.
