Bond fans have been bitterly disappointed again this weekend over the release date of No Time To Die, the film which Badenoch unwittingly put the laggin' into.
The release has been delayed for a third time because of the coronavirus pandemic.
No Time To Die, which includes some breathtaking stunt scenes around the shores of Loch Laggan, had already been pushed back twice, and will not debut globally now until October 8.
The announcement came on the film's website. The film was meant to see the light of day in April 2020.
It's the 25th instalment in the Bond franchise and is reputed to be Daniel Craig's final appearance as British secret service agent 007.
But tomorrow never knows.
This added delay casts the spectre of continued closure for British cinemas which have been forced to shut for months at a time because of lockdowns.
Top film makers have called for government assistance for the industry which, they fear, is becoming unviable.
Bond's latest setback move sparked a flurry of other delays to major releases. Sony has pushed back Ghostbusters: Afterlife, Peter Rabbit 2, Jared Leto's Morbius, Tom Holland's Uncharted and Cinderella, which will star singer Camila Cabello; while Universal has moved Tom Hanks' Bios from April to November.
