Police investigation into Newtonmore break-in

After reports of suspicious activity in Newtonmore on Sunday night in the area of the Co-op and the Balavil Hotel, police have confirmed a break-in.

The Police Scotland spokesperson was not able to identify just where the incident took place but told the Strathy: "Around 8.30am on Sunday, April 21l, 2024 we were made aware of a break-in at a premises on Main Street, Newtonmore.

"Officers attended and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances."
