Frost and ice: Badenoch and Strathspey roads report

Northern routes in the strath are facing frosty conditions with ice forming in places, according to this morning's roads conditions report.

Issued at 8.31 by Highland Council, the report confirms that the tream are checking and treating all routes as required in Badenoch and Strathspey.

"South roads are mainly damp, while the north roads are mainly frosty, with ice in places."

On the surrounding Inverness and Nairn roads there are icy stretches on some routes, with gritters out treating all areas.

"The temperatures rising. Roads mainly damp."
