Strathspey's ever popular ParkRun roared back this morning after last week's unavoidable break.
The savage wintry blasts had given way to almost perfect conditions.
"It was a fantastic day," said race director Pete Wright.
Over the line first was local Ally Bevan.
"It was lovely to see locals and visitors getting back into the swing of things and getting a bit of green health to start the day!"
The 216th event welcomed 47 people to Aviemore to run, jog or walk their way round.
There were11 were first-timers and two recorded new personal bests.
Representatives of 11 different clubs took part.
The event was made possible by nine willing volunteers: Neil Graham Anderson, Eleanor McNicol, Val Machin, Wendy Grigor, Pete Wright, Malcolm Hinsley, Bill Dewitt, Sue Oxleyuy and Vickie Rampton.
