Aviemore ParkRun hits the 'ton' again

There were 101 parkrunners from all over the UK at Saturday's event in Aviemore.

Visitors came from Glasgow, Perth and Oxford, among many other far off places.

"The Cairngorms might have been covered in cloud but the course on the Speyside Way is fantastic no matter what the weather," said race director Pete Wright.

First over the line was Ben Sandilands, taking part in his 25th parkrun – 10 of which he has crossed the line first!

Next week is sees the 250th event at Aviemore.

"It's the ideal time to come for your first parkrun if you've never done it before," says Pete.

The starting point is at the Speyside Way on Dalfaber Drive and the time is 9.30am next Saturday.
