Positively blue-ming at Aviemore's ParkRun!

A perfect day's running at Aviemore was capped by a beautifully turned out party from Falkland Trail Runners.

They journeyed up from Fife to shine at the event, where some 80 runners and walkers made the most of the ever more popular course.

As ever there were participants from all over the country and beyond, notable a couple of Eastbourne savouring the event for their first time.

First finisher was Alistair Gudgin from Fife with an impressive lead of nearly a minute and a half over second-placed junior Ben Turtle, from Edinburgh.

Some five people enjoyed their first ever ParkRun and as race director Hilary Quick said: "Let’s hope their Aviemore experience will create a habit for them!
