Missing man found safe and well

Police can confirm that a mssing man has been found safe and well in Fort William.

Mr Stephen Scales contacted them to say that he had been visiting the North West of Scotland and staying in B&Bs and intends to continue on his travels.

A Northern Constabulary spokesman said there are no further concerns for his wellbeing

Earlier today police had made an appeal for information on the whereabouts of Mr Scales who it was thought might have been in Aviemore.

Mr Scales, from Winsgrave Road, Tring, had last been seen by his loved ones at Lynsters fishing lakes in Harefield on September 23.
