Coronavirus cases continue to climb in the Highlands.

The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in the Highlands has risen to 51 in the last 24 hours.

That is an increase from 44 yesterday, following the latest update provided by the Scottish Government.

There have been 60 deaths across Scotland from Covid-19 – 13 more than yesterday.

There are now 86 confirmed cases in neighbouring Grampian, up from 66 yesterday.

The worst affected health board areas in Scotland remain Greater Glasgow & Clyde (547) and Lothian (269).

A total of 15,895 tests for Covid-19 have been carried out in Scotland.
