Snow still falling on Badenoch and Strathspey roads

This morning's road conditions report from Highland Council confirms that snow continued falling overnight in Badenoch and Strathspey and all routes are still being treated – including footways.

The report, issued at 7.21am also confirmed that there we no overnight issues.

On neighbouring Inverness area routes there was snow on higher areas this morning with varying roadside temperatures across the network.

"We are treating all routes as required. No known issues."

And in the Nairn area snow was reported on higher routes overnight and into this morning.

"Wet roads on lower routes. All routes being treated as necessary.

"No known overnight issues."
