And it's not over yet, in Badenoch and Strathspey, with a report this afternoon that more rain is on the way again.

The following roads have been affected by the weather:

C1132 Loch Insh to Kincraig remains closed due to flooding.

B9152 from the Wildlife Park to Kingussie closed due to flooding.

Burnside Road in Aviemore is experiencing significant flooding and is being dealt with by Scottish Water.

The B970 Boat of Garten to Coylumbridge road is passable with care.

Cairngorm Ski Road is closed with a section of approximately 75 metres under flowing water.

B970 between the Loch Garten junction and Nethy Bridge is closed.

The C1139 between Broomhill Station and Nethy Bridge is also being closed.

More on this as the situation becomes clearer.
