A9 restricted at Kessock Bridge due to vehicle breakdown

Restrictions have been put in place on the A9 at Kessock Bridge after a vehicle broke down in a live lane this morning.

The breakdown occurred on the A9 southbound lane on the approach to Kessock Bridge sometime before 8.10am.

Traffic Scotland are advising motorists to take care when passing the vehicle and to allow extra time for their journey while restrictions are in place.

A Traffic Scotland statement confirmed: "The A9 at North Kessock is currently restricted due to a broken down vehicle. Road users are advised to take caution on approach and allow extra time for their journey."
