A HIGHLAND trunk road is still partially closed following a collision this morning.

The A9 north of Dalwhinnie, between Etteridge and Wade Bridge, is partially blocked in both directions due to a road traffic incident which happened at around 9.30am, Traffic Scotland have announced.

One passing motorist said: "There's a motorhome stopped on one side of the road and on the other about 50 metres away there's a car with a bit of a bashed bumper. Police are directing traffic."

Motorists are advised to use caution on approach.

A Police Scotland Spokesperson said: "It was a minor two vehicle crash on the A9 north of Dalwhinnie near the B9150 junction reported around 9.30am. No one was injured and one of the vehicles has been recovered."
