A9 closed after serious accident at the Slochd

Police Scotland officers are currently dealing with a serious road accident on the A9 at the Slochd junction.

The north bound carriageway is completely closed with one lane of the southbound carriageway also closed.

The public are advised to avoid the area and seek an alternative route.

A force spokesperson said: “The restrictions will be in place for an indefinite period of time.”
