Badenoch's gardening elite in full bloom

The annual Badenoch Flower and Produce Show in Newtonmore Village Hall was well supported.

Held on August 17 it boasted more than 300 entries from 45 exhibitors.

The changeable weather this year affected the flowers and vegetables but there were many very good entries in the jams, baking and drinks classes.

The club was delighted at the number of entries from its young gardeners, particularly the painted stones, “vegetable men” and paper flowers.

Pictured are, back row from from left Beth Alder, Sheila Friend, Sue Thomas, Lynne Munro, Lynda Dodd,

Ann Connolly, Adeline Balharry, Valerie Macpherson, Laura Pierce.

In the front are young stars Fiona and Rory McGill.
