Alternative travel arrangements in place after Dalwhinnie derailment
ScotRail have posted alternative travel arrangements with Saturday's derailed train still in situ outside Dalwhinnie.
Services from Glasgow Queen Street/Edinburgh to Inverness will terminate at Blair Atholl with the exception of the:
• 0707 Queen Street to Inverness
• 0835 Edinburgh to Inverness
• 1036 Edinburgh to Inverness which will all terminate at Perth.
Services from Inverness to Queen Street/Edinburgh will terminate at Kingussie and restart from Blair Atholl with the exception of the 1036 Inverness to Edinburgh which will terminate at Kingussie and restart from Perth.
The following replacement buses will be running:
• From Perth to Inverness departing at 05:03, 08:11, 1130, 1330, 1630 and 1930.
• From Inverness to Perth departing at 05:40, 07:00, 09:00, 11:00, 1300, 1545, 1745, 1900.
The 1745 bus will carry onto Queen Street if required and the 1900 bus will carry on to Edinburgh if required.
Ticket acceptance will be activated between Perth and Inverness in both directions with Citylink buses, M10 and M90.
