Fuel price protest planned for Highlands next month

Motorists in the region are taking a stand against the rising costs of fuel by holding a planned protest on the A9 on July 4.
Cars, trucks and motorbikes will meet up at the A9 Kessock Bridge junction at 10am and form a convoy going south.
Travelling at just 20mph, organisers have said that participants aim to take a stand against the current fuel prices and ask for tax duty cuts and VAT cuts to address the escalating issue.
More than 135 people have registered their interest on the Facebook event, which is just one of many across the UK.
