A PHOTOGRAPHER is exhibiting her work at the hospital she was born in.

Hannah Laycock (36) has a number of personal connections to Leanchoil, including her sister Siobhan also being born in its maternity wing and her grandmother Maria spending time in the convalescence ward there just a few years ago.

Hannah uses photography to explore her diagnosis with multiple sclerosis (MS).

MS is a serious health condition that gets worse over time.

The immune system damages fatty coverings called myelin sheaths around the nerve cells (neurons) in the central nervous system.

The disease has different effects in different people, and can make people's bodies, eyesight, speech, and minds work poorly.

Hannah's 'Perceiving Identity' exhibition explores her feelings of uncertainty, fear, loss and liberation.
