MACKENZIE - (South Uist). Peacefully, at Raigmore Hospital, Inverness, on Thursday, 23rd February, 2023, Murdo MacKenzie, aged 73 years, of 186 Snishival, South Uist. Beloved son of the late Allan and Jessie, a dear brother of the late Torquil and the late Peter Allan. Murdo was a loyal and respected good friend to many during his years on South Uist. All family and former friends are respectfully invited to attend Murdo's funeral service which will take place at Inverallan Parish Church, Grantown-on-Spey, on Friday, 17th March, 2023, commencing at 12 midday; thereafter interment within Grantown New Cemetery. Floral tributes are welcomed or alternatively a donation towards the British Heart Foundation can be made at the service or forwarded directly to the undernoted.
