Still time to get involved in Badenoch and Strathspey football league

The Strathspey & Badenoch Welfare FA's 2015 AGM will take place next Wednesday (March 25) 7:30pm at the Royal British Legion in Aviemore.

So far seven clubs have confirmed they will participate in the coming season of the local football league.

The AGM will be the final opportunity for any potential new sides to come along and sign up.

League spokesman Alasdair MacNeill said: "Last season saw Grantown FC win all but one of the available trophies.

"However, with them concentrating exclusively on the junior football scene this year the scope for winning silverware has greatly increased for all the teams."
