Munro insists that a Thistle win is not too far away
JAGS centre-half Fraser Munro feels that Thistle are getting closer to that elusive first win of the season, having run a number of teams close in recent months.
He said: “We are all working hard, but nothing happened for us, and losing Craig Rothney early doors didn’t help.
“Being on such a losing streak, it’s hard to get out of the rut, but we are trying hard. It’s football that gets results and a bit of luck as well.
“When you are at the bottom, you cannot let heads go down or you get anchored completely.”
The big defender believes that he and his team mates will have to work hard in order to pick up their first three points and get that monkey off their back.

He added: “We all know it’s going to be hard work. We keep plugging on and every fixture is a tough one. It is good experience and exposure for the young boys.
“It’s a sort of proud embarrassment when we are described as the worst team in senior football.”
On the game itself, he said: “We need belief in our ability but we didn’t show it and had no cutting edge.
“Locos had movement in midfield and up front but we need somebody in there to take control.”
