All the mini competitions have so far been played within clusters: Badenoch & Strathspey, Moray and the Inverness/Nairn/Tain area.

The winners of the clusters will play in a group to decide the destination of the trophy.

Fighting it out to be hailed champions are Rothiemurchus & Aviemore; Elgin and Bellfield Park A.

In a second group Grantown, Rothes A and Bellfield Park B will be playing for final positions fourth to sixth.

It is hoped that a third section involving Rothes B, Lossiemouth and Inverness will be confirmed this week.

A league spokesman said: "It should be an interesting four hours, full of fun for the children."
