The agonising 2020 season goes on for the strath's footballers.

The news was posted yesterday aftenoon by the Breedon Highland League that tomorrow's match between Strathspey Thistle and Rothes has been called off.

It follows two days of wintry storms across Badenoch and Strathspey with plummeting temperatures taking a heavy toll.

The fixture has been postponed due to a snowbound pitch.

Last night another casualty to the fixtures list was confirmed by the league, with Clachnacuddin and Turriff United's match postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

On Tuesday the league had to announce that the match between Keith and Nairn County had been postponed.

"Unfortunately, a significant number of Nairn County players continue to be placed in self-isolation meaning that Nairn County are unable to field a team."
