More visitors in friendly invasion at Aviemore parkrun

Today's Aviemore parkrun, the 192nd such event, attracted 81 participants to the ever-popular course.

"It was another great performance by visitors," said race director Hilary Quick.

"No less than 55 people came specially to take part and it was great to see no less than 22 different clubs represented."

The event was made possible by nine volunteers:

Emma Sinclair, Pete Wright, Katie Hanson, Iain Atherton, Martin Wares, Hilary Quick, Claire Howie, Bill Dewitt and Vickie Rampton.

The female record is held by Morag Millar, who recorded a time of 17:05 in 2019, while the male record belongs to Tom Martyn, 14:57, set in January 2020.
