Badenoch and Strathspey take on Tir Conaill Harps.

The Eilan at Newtonmore will play host to women’s shinty cup finals day on Saturday September 7.

Badenoch and Strathspey will meet Glasgow Mid Argyll in the Valerie Fraser Camanachd Cup Final. Badenoch and Strathspey have their very own goal scoring machine in the form of Jane Nicol who scored all four of their semi-final goals in their extra time victory over Lochaber but the Glasgow team have some first class strikers in their squad including their captain and 2012 Scotland Captain Katie Drain.

However it is the GMA second team who will kick off proceedings in what could be a very successful day for their club with the chance of two pieces of silverware returning to Glasgow. They will play Strathglass in the Marine Harvest Challenge Cup Final - the first match of the day.

The Massey Shield, a six-a-side competition in its fourth year which was kindly donated by Laggan Doctor, Karen Massey, will round off the day. The tournament is invitational with girls teams from shinty playing schools in the Badenoch area competing for the shield.

The Marine Harvest Challenge Cup Final throws-up at 12.30pm followed by the Valerie Fraser Camanachd Cup Final at 2.30pm and theMassey Shield Primary Schools Shinty is at 4pm.
