Well-known strath hotel up for sale

A WELL-KNOWN Kingussie hotel has been put on the market with a price tag of around £650,000.

The Edinburgh office of Colliers International are handling the sale of the Star Hotel on the town's High Street.

The hotel has 35 en suite letting bedrooms, two bars, restaurant, function room and lounge.

The Star Hotel has been put onto the market following the death of the owner in 2009.

Alistair Letham, director at Colliers International, commented: “The Star Hotel has a strong and very well established level of trade catering for both the pre-booked value led bargain break business and local trade in the bars and restaurant”.
