WATCH: The mass ride-out of Harley-Davidsons from Aviemore
The rain might have been persisting but that has not dampened spirits in Aviemore as the 25th anniversary of Thunder in the Glens hits top gear.
This year seems to be the biggest yet certainly in terms of the Harley's base camp and associated stands which have been spreading their wings from the Macdonald Aviemore Resort.
As yet numbers of bikes has not been confirmed but the traditional mass ride-out last more than 20 minutes as the bikers made their way to Lochindorb and Grantown and wherever took their fancy.
There was good news on the weather front too as the persistent rain which greeted the mass ride-out gave way to dry conditions for most of this afternoon.
By mid afternoon, the beer gardens were thronging and live music was blasting out along Grampian Road lending a carnival atmosphere to the village.
