“The link has also gone out on our social media on so we would love everyone to get sharing.”

Heather explained: “We are very different and a lot smaller than the other clubs that have won - for example, Leeds Rhinos have won club of the month too - but we would love to follow up our October success!

“When I set up the school 10 years ago I set it up with the vision and mission to make dance accessible to all, and this is the way we have run the school from the start, so to receive this award and recognition from such a major organisation does reaffirm that the work we do is important.

“Over the 10 years we have had a whole range of pupils come through our doors and have met their needs, from the elite training to become professionals, receiving high marks in ISTD examinations, putting on completely inclusive shows and providing a safe and welcoming environment for all to enjoy dance. Everybody is welcome, and Every Body can dance.”
