WATCH: Motorist makes bizarre turn-off from busy Aviemore road
A bizarre impromptu turn-off by a motorist from a main road in Aviemore has left viewers gobsmacked.
The footage was captured by local resident Kirsti McIntyre on her dashcam footage yesterday at around 3pm.
The driver turns off Dalfaber Drive and motors down a steep bank near to the Strathspey Veterinary Centre and Co-op.
The footage has drawn plenty of comment on local social media.
Ryan Connor posted: "In the name of the wee man – that's hard enough to walk down never mind take your car down."
Vicky Macleod stated: "I was waiting for the car to bottom out there – that's a steep path.
"I've seen some pretty dodgy driving this week with it being the holidays. Had someone get out of their car on Monday up Loch an Eilein way trying to direct traffic as they did not understand a single track road and passing places but this video makes that pale into insignificance."
Caroline Hunt posted: "Crazy but isn't that the vet's on the left? I wonder if it might have been someone stressed and releasing they have passed the junction and desperate to take an animal to the vet's."
Damian Paluga pointed out: "New contender that."
Ewan McIntyre said: "Probably just confused having come through THE junction."
Mihai Dumitru said: "It is me in front with the black car. I was also shocked."
