Warning of Central Belt rail disruption

Rail passengers using the Highland mainline to get to Glasgow are being warned to expect further disruption to their journeys over the next three weekends.

Track works between Dunblane and Perth mean that trains will only be operating between Inverness and Perth in both directions on a number of days, with bus replacement services operating between Perth and Glasgow.

Days affected by the disruption are this Sunday (December 1) and December 7, 8, 14 and 15.

The work comes after services were affected during the last two Sundays, when the maintenance first began.
