Wait is nearly over for return of Aviemore Hub

The Aviemore Hub youth centre is reopening its doors next week following the Covid lockdown.

High Life Highland is continuing its bounceback campaign with the reintroduction of face-to-face youth work across the region.

Aviemore Hub in the village centre is scheduled to be back providing activities for youngsters from Tuesday.

Youth work teams had been reliant on digital services and socially distanced work where possible following the lockdown on March 23.

Mark Richardson, HLH’s principal youth work manager, said: “Young people want and need to meet each other socially in informal learning spaces and I am delighted that we can take a step closer to normality with a phased approach to reopening our youth centres."
