Carrbridge missing 81-year-old woman is traced safe and well after Police Scotland appeal

Police have confirmed that an 81-year-old woman who was reported missing from the Carrbridge area was found safe and well.

Last night Police Scotland issued an appeal to help find Valerie Dyer, who was last seen near Dalnahaitnach Hill, a well-known beauty spot near the Strathspey village.

However just before 10pm, they announced she had been traced safe and well and thanked the public for the assistance.
