UPDATE: Police investigations continue after two car accidents on A95 by Boat of Garten
Police investigations are continuing after two cars left the A95 Aviemore-Grantown road in the early hours of the morning.
Two men were taken to hospital for treatment.
Sergeant Neil Macdonald, who is based at Police Scotland's Road Policing Unit at Dingwall police station, told the Strathy: “Our enquiries are ongoing into two crashes that took place on the A95 near to Boat of Garten in the early hours of Sunday (May 14).
“Each crash resulted in one car leaving the roadway.
"The first report was received around 3.10am
“Officers attended and two men were taken to hospital.
"The road is currently closed.
“Enquiries are ongoing to ascertain the exact circumstances surrounding each crash and to establish if they are linked in any way.
“We would urge anyone with information or any drivers using the road at the time who have dash-cam footage to contact us through 101 quoting reference number 0729 of 14 May.”
