UPDATE: Police confirm woman killed in Skye of Curr road accident

Police have confirmed that a woman has been killed in a two-vehicle road accident on the A95 Aviemore-Grantown road earlier today.

The road remains closed in both directions by Skye of Curr whilst investigations are carried out.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers were called to reports of a two vehicle crash on the A95 near Dulnain Bridge at around 7.50am today.

“Emergency services attended and a 38-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

“The road remains closed.”

Diversions have been put in place.

There are no more details from the police at this time.
