UPDATE: Four people taken to hospital after A9 crash by Dalwhinnie





The A9 reopened last night just before 7.30pm after an accident which resulted in four people being taken to hospital for treatment.

The single vehicle accident occurred on the Inverness-Perth road by Dalwhinnie late afternoon.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Officers were called to a report of a crash involving a single car on the A9 near Dalwhinnie at around 4.30pm yesterday (Sunday).

“Four people were taken to hospital and the road reopened shortly before 7.30pm after the vehicle was recovered.”

The conditions of the casualties is not known.
