Services on the Strathspey Steam Railway out of Aviemore were disrupted this morning (August 5) and its morning train was cancelled.
"Due to unforeseen circumstances our 10.30am service has been cancelled," reported the company on social media.
The notice explained: "A power line has fallen onto the track, therefore we cannot run our services until this has been removed."
The company hope to be running services again this afternoon – with 12.30pm and 2.45pm trains leaving from Aviemore Station as scheduled.
"But we will update as soon as we know."
